1. Laptop Requirement

Interns are required to carry their own laptop throughout the internship for legal research, drafting, documentation, and other assigned work.

2. Organisational Ethos

Corpus Juris India is committed to the principle of Access to Justice for All. Interns are expected to uphold the values of integrity, professionalism, public service, and ethical legal practice throughout the programme.

3. Internship Duration

The minimum internship duration is 30 days. Any extension shall be considered solely at the discretion of Corpus Juris India based on performance, discipline, and organisational requirements.

4. Practical Legal Exposure

Subject to the nature of ongoing matters and the discretion of the supervising advocate, interns may receive exposure to legal research, drafting, court proceedings, case management, public interest litigation, and other legal assignments.

5. Professional Conduct

Interns are expected to maintain punctuality, discipline, confidentiality, professional ethics, and appropriate office decorum throughout the internship.

6. Reimbursement Policy

Daily travel or commuting expenses shall not be reimbursed. Only work-related expenses specifically approved by the Organisation may be considered for reimbursement in accordance with the Internship Policy.

Who can apply for the Legal Internship Programme?

Law students currently pursuing a 3-year or 5-year LL.B. degree from a recognised university or institution are eligible to apply. Applications from motivated and committed candidates are encouraged.

The minimum internship duration is 30 days. Applications for shorter durations are generally not considered.

The internship is primarily conducted in physical (offline) mode at our office to provide practical exposure to litigation, legal drafting, client interaction, and office procedures.

Yes. An Internship Completion Certificate is issued to interns who successfully complete the internship and satisfy the firm’s attendance, performance, and conduct requirements.

The internship is primarily intended for academic and professional learning. Any reimbursement, if applicable, shall be governed by the firm’s prevailing internship policy.
